KOSMIC SOUNDS is a hybrid publishing firm founded by SUNG OOK CHOI, CEO of PEAK POINT COMPANY. He brings extensive experience in copyright management, talent discovery, and value creation within the global music industry.
Since 2003, PEAK POINT has managed the master rights of over 100 of Korea’s most iconic albums, positioning itself as a leader in the domestic music copyright business.
COO of PEAK POINT, HOSEOB LEE has also played a pivotal role in managing and publishing numerous hit songs in both Korea and Japan, building relationships with promising composers both domestically and internationally.
In September 2023, PEAK POINT established MERRYGOROUND MUSIC INC. in New York, followed by a name change to KOSMIC SOUNDS INC. in September 2024. In September 2024, the company also expanded further by opening its European office in Paris, aiming to actively identify and nurture talented composers from the U.S. and Europe.
Through its offices in New York and Paris, KOSMIC SOUNDS connects these international talents with leading K-pop production companies in Korea, facilitating the commercialization of outstanding music. The company also takes a proactive role in managing music copyrights, ensuring a sustainable revenue model for all stakeholders.
